BASIC Self-defense COURSE

The Basic Self-Defense Course is an entry-level course designed to educate students to develop situational awareness, recognize threatening behaviors, respond to threats, and deal with the aftermath of an incident. The goal of this course is to enable students to apply what they have learned to recognize a threat, avoid a threat, confront a threat, and survive a potentially life-threatening encounter. Students will learn various self-defense strategies and tools available to them and the legal implications involved with use-of-force incidents.

ACS STOP THE BLEED

$50

The American College of Surgeons (ACS) Stop the Bleed course provides students with the knowledge and skills to provide critical life-saving efforts in times of need. The course is focused on stopping bleeding by applying pressure, packing wounds, and applying tourniquets. Students will gain an understanding of the tools available to them and how to apply those tools properly.

USCCA Concealed carry and home defense Fundamentals

The United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals (CCHDF) course is designed to meet the standards for obtaining a concealed carry permit.

Course topics include:
  • Developing a personal and home protection plan
  • Home security
  • Fundamentals of home defense with handguns, shotguns, and rifles
  • Defensive shooting fundamentals
  • Why conflict avoidance is so important
  • The legal use of force
  • Violent encounters and their aftermath
  • Live-fire range qualification

AHA CPR, AED, FIRST AID

The American Heart Association (AHA) CPR, AED, and First Aid course provides students with the knowledge and skills to provide critical life-saving efforts in times of need. The course is focused on delivering chest compressions and emergency breathing to victims of cardiac arrest. Students will gain an understanding of recognizing medical emergencies, responding to those emergencies, and assisting emergency medical services with life-saving efforts.

Active violence emergency response training (AVERT)

The Health and Safety Institute (HSI) Active Violence Emergency Response Training (AVERT) course is designed to educate students to develop a quick reaction against active violence emergencies at all types of locations. The class provides tools for students to use to quickly and effectively stop an active shooter threat, in addition to providing critical life-saving skills.
